ACHE-NJ Chapter Distinguished Service Award

​

  • Outstanding leader who has made significant contributions to health care within the state of New Jersey.

  • Eligible candidates include business leaders, clinicians, community volunteers, educators, health care administrators, legislators, and researchers.

  • Demonstrated achievement in one or more of the following areas: leadership and executive performance, health services/patient care delivery, professional development, management and organizational development, health services activities.

  • Candidate to be selected by a committee of previous “Distinguished Service Award” recipients

 

ACHE New Jersey Regent Awards Guidelines:

 

Early Careerist Healthcare Manager

​

  • Minimum 5 year-healthcare tenure; contribution to their organization

  • Entry-level leadership role (analyst, coordinator, supervisor, manager)

  • Member of the ACHE/ACHE-NJ

  • Demonstrated service to ACHE or ACHENJ

  • Demonstrated service to the community

 

Mid Careerist Healthcare Leader

​

  • Minimum 10 year-healthcare tenure; significant contribution to their organization

  • Middle management leadership role (Manager/Director)

  • Member of ACHE / Fellow or on the advancement track

  • Demonstrated service to ACHE or ACHENJ

  • Commitment to the values of ACHE, including mentoring others

  • Contributes to the community at large

 

Senior Careerist Healthcare Executive

  • Minimum 20 year-healthcare tenure; significant leadership contribution to their organization

  • Senior leadership role (AVP, VP or above)

  • Fellow of ACHE / Member of ACHE-NJ

  • Demonstrated service to ACHE or ACHENJ

  • Commitment to the values of ACHE, including mentoring others

  • Contributes to the community at large

 

Innovation—Program/Team

​

  • Program/Team is “Making meaningful change to improve health and healthcare delivery programs services, processes or organizational effectiveness” – Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework

  • Demonstrated “new value for stakeholders” such as addressing the Triple Aim (Access, patient experience, cost)

  • Innovation incorporates the values of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

  • Lead person must be a member of ACHE / ACHE-NJ

  • Nominations welcomed from healthcare continuum, ACHE Higher Education Networks, and healthcare consultants

 

Healthcare Partner & Collaborator

​

  • Minimum of 10 years contributing to healthcare in a non-hospital acute-care setting (i.e. Physician Practice, Post-Acute services, vendor to healthcare industry, consultant, collaborator)

  • Holds a senior leadership role

  • Member of ACHE / Fellow or on the advancement track

  • Demonstrated service to ACHE or ACHENJ

  • Contributes to the community at large
