COMMITTEES

Committees are comprised of ACHE-NJ members and are open to any active member interested in participating.
 

  • Clinical Committee

  • Communications Committee – This committee is responsible for supporting chapter communications and oversees the development and maintenance of the website, quarterly chapter newsletter, social media, public relations, and related activities.

  • Distinguished Service Award Committee – This committee confers an annual distinguished service award to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the healthcare field.  It determines eligibility requirements and nomination and award processes and handles any other activities necessary to confer the award.
     

  • Diversity & Inclusion Committee – This committee champions diversity and cultural competency and strengthens the efforts of the Institute for Diversity in Health Management and other associations. The committee helps promote and participates in efforts about diversity.
     

  • Education Committee – This committee plans programs and events for which ACHE Face-to-Face and Qualified Education credit is awarded. It is responsible for all necessary arrangements and actions to conduct such programs and events.
     

  • Membership Committee – This committee is responsible for all activities related to understanding the needs of the members. Responsibilities may include creating, conducting, and analyzing membership surveys, creating and maintaining a new member outreach program, updating the member value proposition statement, and coordinating outreach to all subsections of members in conjunction with other committees
     

  • Nominating Committee – This committee is responsible for organizing the nominating process for open positions on the Chapter’s Board of Directors.
     

  • Scholarship Committee – This committee provides an annual scholarship for students entered into a college/university program in healthcare administration.  It determines eligibility requirements and application and award processes and makes any such arrangements as may be necessary to award the scholarship.

  • Sponsorship Committee – This committee is responsible for coordinating all correspondence with new and existing corporate sponsors. Responsibilities include reviewing and revising sponsorship-level benefit descriptions, communicating with identified potential sponsors, securing new corporate sponsors, ensuring the benefits of existing sponsors, maintaining relationships with existing sponsors, renewing existing sponsorship agreements, and maintaining information found on the sponsorship page of the ACHE-NJ website.
     

  • Strategic Planning Committee – This committee assists the board with its responsibilities for developing, maintaining, and fulfilling the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic direction.
     

  • Wishes Come True Committee – This committee is responsible for soliciting and previewing “Wishes” and presenting them to the Board for review and consideration.
